Methodology and formulas

Volume equals measured area times layer depth. Weight equals volume times the user-entered bulk density; allowance is applied only after base weight.

Every quantity is calculated from visible user inputs. The engine does not load live prices, hidden density tables, manufacturer presets, structural tables, or jurisdictional rules.

Worked example
